Strategic, Flexible Planting Across Canada: Our national approach allows us to target key ecosystems such as the Boreal Forest, coastal regions, and grassland restoration zones, working in partnership with local stewards across Alberta, British Columbia, and beyond. Annual Climate Action Reporting: Transparency is central to our mission. All subscribers, donors, and sponsors will receive a personalized Climate Action Report annually, highlighting:

Aligned with Canada's National Climate and Restoration Goals

PeriCarbon’s Canadian Reforestation Initiative is designed to align with and support Canada’s major environmental commitments, ensuring that every tree planted creates measurable, lasting impact.

The Two Billion Trees Program: Launched by the Government of Canada, this initiative aims to plant two billion trees by 2031 to restore ecosystems, capture carbon, and combat climate change. While PeriCarbon operates independently, our efforts support the goals of the Two Billion Trees Program by increasing tree cover, restoring ecological health, and contributing to long-term carbon sequestration across Canada.

Canada’s 2030 Emissions Reduction Plan: Canada’s 2030 target seeks to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 40 to 45 percent below 2005 levels. Reforestation and ecological restoration are key strategies within this plan. PeriCarbon’s regenerative tree planting efforts contribute to this national objective by creating natural carbon sinks that help offset emissions while strengthening biodiversity and soil health.

Net-Zero Emissions by 2050 Commitment: Achieving net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 requires action from governments, businesses, and individuals alike. Through our focus on high-quality, regenerative reforestation, PeriCarbon proudly supports Canada's broader net-zero commitment, building natural infrastructure that will sequester carbon for decades to come.
